Two years later...let's get together on March 2, 2013

It is now two years (only) after the March 11, 2011 Great East Japan earthquake. 1567 children lost one parent. 241 lost both parents. While the people in Japan have made a tremendous effort to clean up and make things appear normal, under the surface a lot of help is still needed.

As usual, we want to help the children first. This time, we have chosen to channel our support through Japanese architect Tadao Ando's Momokaki fund. We like his sustained support effort over time, especially important to help lone children get the education they need to get the same chance in life as children with parents.

Like last year and the year before, we would like to gather in Repulse Bay. Let's meet on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 15h00 at the bottom of the stairs leading up from HK International School primary section.

Your donations, and especially the donations of your children are welcome. Every single effort will be felt, appreciated and thanked. If you are unable to join us on March 2, 2013, you can donate directly by money transfer. Please send us a note afterwards so we can consolidate the names and comments here on this site.

Thank you!
