One year after - let's take care of the children!

More than 2,005 children lost a parent in the March 11, 2011 Great East Japan earthquake. 281 lost both parents. We want to dedicate this year's remembrance and fund raising to the courageous children of Tohoku. We shall not forget them.

Like last year, we are gathering in Repulse Bay on Sunday, March 11, 2012. We are meeting at 14:30 at the bottom of the stairs leading up from HK International School primary section. And like last year, your donations, and especially the donations of your children are welcome. We cherish every single dollar, and will make sure it gets into the right hands.

東日本大震災で親など保護者を失った「震災遺児」が２００５人となっています。そのうち両親を失った「震災孤児」は２８１人にのぼるようです。震災によって生活が一変してしまった「震災遺児」たちの将来の夢が叶えられるためには息の長い支援が必要です。「震災遺児」を応援するため、東日本大震災発生１年にあたる３月１１日にチャリティーウォークを開催します。ミーティング場所は去年と同様、香港インターナショナル校小学部レパルスベイキャンパス前です。　集合時間は２時３０分です。集まった寄金は震災遺児を物心面で支える民間非営利団体である『あしなが育英会』に寄付いたします。
